Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE3/Tech Lead)

We're looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the development of our IT asset leasing platform

that streamlines enterprise onboarding, credit assessment, and ongoing asset management for

businesses.

About the Role

As our SDE3/Tech Lead, you'll oversee the technical architecture and implementation of our end-to-

end digital platform that enables businesses to efficiently lease IT assets and manage the entire

lifecycle (Lease, Management, Disposal). You'll lead a small development team in building secure,

scalable features that facilitate enterprise onboarding, automated credit assessment, asset lifecycle

management, and a seamless customer experience. As revenue grows this team will grow in size.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop robust, scalable systems for secure enterprise onboarding and user

management

• Design and implement credit assessment workflows that integrate with financial data

providers

• Build secure payment processing systems with proper compliance controls

• Develop asset tracking and lifecycle management features

• Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and code reviews

• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical

specifications

• Establish engineering best practices, development standards, and quality controls

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in a technical leadership role

• Strong experience with financial technology, especially credit systems, payment processing,

or lending platforms

• Expertise in secure authentication, authorization, and data protection for financial

applications

• Experience with credit assessment algorithms or integration with credit bureaus/financial

data providers

• Proficiency in building scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)

• Strong knowledge of database design for financial transactions and reporting

• Experience with compliance requirements for financial applications (SOC2, PCI-DSS, etc.)

• Background in developing enterprise SaaS applications with complex user roles and

permissions

• Strong system design skills with focus on security, scalability, and reliability

• Strong understanding and experience with India-specific frameworks and infrastructure:

• India Stack implementation experience (AA, Aadhaar, DigiLocker, eKYC, eSign)

• Experience with workflow automation and approval systems

• Background in FinTech startups or financial services technology

• Experience with Account Aggregator framework and Open Credit Enablement Network

(OCEN)

• Familiarity with MSME lending processes and digital documentation

Technical Skills

• Proficient in at least one backend language like Python, Go or Node.js

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, React-Native)

• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database technologies

• Understanding of API design and microservices architecture

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure as code

Nice to Have

• Experience in leasing, equipment financing, or asset management systems

• Knowledge of accounting principles related to leasing and asset depreciation

• Familiarity with RBI and NPCI guidelines for financial applications

• Experience with GST integration and compliance requirements

• Knowledge of TDS/TCS considerations for leasing platforms

• Experience with NBFC/lending compliance in India
