Technical skills:

· Azure synapsis, Python Expert level, ML and AI techniques, Supervised, Unsupervised and deep learning methods, API creation for ML models built.

· Solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and data normalization.

· Master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Applied Math or related field.

· 5+ years practical experience with Python, ETL, data processing, database programming and data analytics

· Extensive background in data mining and statistical analysis

· Able to understand various data structures and common methods in data transformation.

· Excellent pattern recognition and predictive modelling skills using structured and unstructured data.

· Experience with programming languages such as Java/.net will be good to have.

Roles and responsibilities

· Data extraction and connection from and to different data sources like SQL server, AWS, Azure cloud etc.

· Coordinate with different functional teams to gather the data and business understanding to provide a business solution.

· Research and apply advanced statistical learning models for data analysis.

· Combining models through ensemble modeling

· Developing and implementing statistical and Machine Learning models

· Collaborate with product management and engineering departments to understand customer needs and devise possible solutions.

· Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends

· Communicate results and ideas to key decision makers in a simple and easy ways

· Implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis.

· Optimize joint development efforts through appropriate database use and project design.

Additional Skills needed.

· End to end project handling, documentation and providing operational plan to business units for maximum utilization of the statistical solution.

· Working experience with Fashion Retail industry / lifestyle products industry will be good to have skill.

· Strong oral and written communication skills, Presentation as well as strong documentation and data management and analysis skills

· Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools to share the final results of ML solutions in any one BI tool like Power BI or Tableau

· Communicates key process information, deadlines, task definition, etc., to groups.

· Creative approach to problem solving.

· Must have the ability to develop, own and drive processes; complete complex analysis; successfully partner with other professionals; and have strong project management skill.

· As an independent professional, team player and proactive in providing suggestions and potential solutions.
