Key Responsibilities:
1. Media Relations:
○ Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
○ Proactively pitch stories, press releases, and company news to relevant media contacts.
○ Monitor media coverage and manage any crisis communication scenarioseffectively.
2. Content Creation:
○ Create, edit, review and manage written communication materials, including
press releases, holding statements, media coverages, articles, pitch notes, Q&As,
and more.
○ Write compelling award nominations, event submissions, and co-founder profiles
that highlight our achievements and vision.
○ Create and manage content for press kits, company bios, and other
communication materials.
○ Develop and implement comprehensive B2C and B2B PR strategies to deliver
results in accordance with company’s growth phase
3. Strategic Planning:
○ Collaborate with the marketing and leadership teams to develop and execute a
comprehensive PR strategy aligned with business objectives.
○ Identify and leverage PR opportunities to enhance brand visibility and
reputation.
○ Execute PR initiatives aligned with key communication pillars across brand
positioning, product portfolio, spokesperson profiling, etc
○ Elevate brand perception and drive increased brand recall by maintaining
relationships with journalists and media event organizers
4. Event Management:
○ Support the planning and execution of company events, webinars, and other
PR-related activities.
○ Assist in securing speaking opportunities and media partnerships for events.
○ Benchmark and plan speaking engagements, appearances, conferences,
seminars, and industry events.
5. Awards and Nominations:
○ Research and identify relevant industry awards and events.
○ Craft and submit high-quality nominations that reflect the company's strengths
and innovations.
6. Co-Founder Profiling:
○ Work closely with the co-founders to create and maintain their public profiles.
○ Develop thought leadership content and pitch bylines to relevant media outlets.
7. Reporting & Analytics:
○ Track and report on PR activities and media coverage.
○ Analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
8. Agency Liasoning:
○ Manage all liaisons with PR agency as a SPOC, ensuring smooth, efficient and
value-driven workflow and output from agency
○ Understand and set quarterly PR objectives in conversation with leadership and
cascade goals comprehensively to agency
○ Conduct monthly review meetings with the agency partners in order to assess
the performance and mandates

Qualifications:
● Experience: 1-3 years of experience in PR, either on the agency or brand side.
● Industry: Experience in a fintech startup or growth startup is a plus but not mandatory.

○ Excellent writing and editing skills.
○ Ability to create compelling narratives and content for various PR needs.
○ Familiarity with PR tools and analytics platforms.
