Job Brief
As the Learning & Development Co-ordinator working in a Software Development firm, you will be responsible for ensuring that everyone in the company is
encouraged to stay updated with new technologies within their development space through learning and development initiatives.
You will assess the levels of skills and knowledge of staff at every level of the company, taking the necessary actions to maintain and develop these skills for the ultimate benefit of the staff and the company overall.
Additionally, you will also handle the administrative tasks needed to ensure the successful execution of all training programs.

Responsibilities
• Design and develop suitable learning and development programmes.
• Create conceptual framework for learning products (print, eLearning,
communications, etc).
• Manage the operational and administrative components of learning and
development and ensures courses run to schedule and budget.
• Coordinates the activities of trainers and instructors.
• Ensures that delivery of programmes meets needs of learners.
• Should be able to liaise with External or third-party training institutes.
• Where external delivery agents are involved, make sure that they deliver
training which meets company needs.
• Producing materials for internal delivery.
• Should be familiar with LMS sites e.g. Udemy and suggest suitable courses
which meet company needs.
• Assists with the development of the company learning and development strategy.
• Manages own learning and that within the training department so that all staff
are completely up to date with any recent developments.
• Writes and presents recommendations and reports for management.
• Evaluates all training activities to ensure that targets have been achieved.
• Mentors and reviews the activities of the team members who are undergoing training.


Requirements/Expectations

• A minimum Bachelor's degree. Optionally, a Master’s degree in HR or related
field.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Training department, 8-10 years of industry
experience
• Have sound technical knowledge and should be hands on with some
technology areas.
• Have a good understanding of the aspects of HR.
• Excellent communication skills, in both personal interactions and through
document creation for stores.
• Professional, detail oriented, innovative, positive team player with high
standards and a strong work ethic.
• Conceptual and creative thinker
• Be extremely well-organised and manage time efficiently.
• Be open to having a lot of contact with the staff through discussion, meetings
and training.
• Good to have experience with tools that can be used to design and deliver
training materials.
