Job Overview

Airtel Africa is seeking a dynamic Accounts Manager to drive sales and service in the assigned territory. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting Data (Internet Bandwidth, MPLS, Cloud), Voice (Postpaid), Broadband, and Fixed Line solutions. The role requires managing client relationships and serving as the single point of contact for customers across all three lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets for Data, Voice, and Fixed Line solutions.
  • Identify and acquire new accounts, ensuring business expansion (hunting).
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling of multiple products in both existing and new accounts.
  • Maintain a robust sales funnel across all three lines of business.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay ahead of competitors.
  • Monitor competitor offerings and develop sales strategies accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term business growth.
  • Negotiate and close orders/contracts to maximize revenue generation.
  • Ensure seamless delivery of solutions as per customer requirements.

Skills & Competencies Required:

  • Proven sales experience in B2B, Field Sales, or Corporate Sales.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Market intelligence and competitor analysis capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
