Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in PySpark, Python, Spark, and SQL. The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing data workflows, and ensuring data quality across various platforms and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support data collection, transformation, and integration from multiple data sources.
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver optimized solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Python, Spark, and SQL for large datasets.
• Implement data quality checks and monitor data pipeline performance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate in designing and implementing data storage solutions, ensuring efficient querying and access patterns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any data pipeline issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in data engineering.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Strong experience with Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
• Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
