Job Description: Data Analyst/Data Scientist (R, SQL)

Role Overview:
We are looking for a proficient Data Analyst/Engineer with strong expertise in R, SQL, and Hadoop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets, developing data models, and supporting our data-driven decision-making processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, efficiency, and reliability in our data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced data analysis and statistical modeling using R.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various data sources.
• Implement data quality checks and troubleshoot any data-related issues.
• Optionally, manage and process large datasets using Hadoop or other big data technologies.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or data engineering with a strong focus on R and SQL.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization using R.
• Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries for various databases.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
