Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement microservices-based applications using Java 8 and the Spring framework.
  2. Develop efficient and high-quality code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver solutions.
  4. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality.
  5. Optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
  6. Integrate various ORM technologies (such as Hibernate, JPA, or similar) to facilitate data persistence and retrieval.
  7. Ensure the security and integrity of the applications through proper authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, both during development and in production environments.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team.
  10. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development.
  3. Strong expertise in Java 8 features and functionalities.
  4. Extensive experience with building microservices using Spring Boot or Spring Cloud.
  5. In-depth knowledge of ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, JPA, or similar.
  6. Proficiency in working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or NoSQL databases.
  7. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  8. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
  9. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architecture is an advantage.
  10. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
  11. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  12. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  13. Proven track record of delivering projects on time and meeting quality standards.
