Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Databricks Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in big data processing and analytics, with hands-on experience in Azure Databricks. This role requires someone who can contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of data solutions on Azure, with a focus on Databricks. The candidate should be able to join immediately and be based in either Pune or Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize large-scale data processing pipelines using Azure Databricks.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to integrate and process data from various sources.
- Implement data security and governance practices within Azure Databricks.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to Databricks clusters and jobs.
- Automate data workflows and ensure scalability and reliability of data processing systems.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy and manage data solutions in production environments.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure Databricks and related technologies.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Azure Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, and Databricks SQL.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
- Deep understanding of big data technologies and frameworks.
- Experience with Azure services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Synapse.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
