Job Description – Associate Vice President – Product

As a Product head, you would be responsible for:

  • Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, including problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, roadmap execution, customer needs, and requirement/use case definition with a focus on streamlining the user onboarding.
  • Translate product strategy into requirements and prototypes.
  • Ability to write detailed product specs/user stories.
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience (B2B and B2C), identify, and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that grow revenue and improve customer experience.
  • Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation.
  • Support Product development with data and help in making product decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization.
  • Will need to work in tandem with Marketing and Sales teams to ensure increased traffic on the website, increased leads, and app downloads.

Skills and Qualifications Desired

  • Should be B.Tech/B.E + MBA
  • Must have 10+ years of proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
  • Prior experience in B2C app-based companies with a proven track record.
  • Experience in driving metrics like MAU, DAU, Page views, App Downloads.
  • Experience in working on and integrating third-party marketing tools like AdWords, Clever Tap, Branch, WhatsApp, etc. will be beneficial.
  • Should be able to identify improvement points in the existing platform/user experience and work to execute the improvements.
  • Highly effective cross-functional team management.
  • Good writing skills combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Knowledge of current market prevalent technologies is a big plus.
  • Basic design skills.
