Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager / General Manager – Network Solutioning to join our logistics team. This critical role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable logistics solutions that align with client requirements while optimizing vendor performance and maintaining profitability. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in solutioning, vendor management, commercial negotiation, and operational excellence to deliver superior outcomes for clients and the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Vendor Mapping
- Develop tailored logistics solutions for strategic accounts, identifying and mapping the most efficient vendors aligned with client needs.
- Create operational frameworks to enable seamless cross-utilization of Pidge’s vendor network, ensuring optimal geographic coverage and resource utilization.
2. Commercials Creation & Negotiation
- Design and present customized commercial proposals based on client-specific logistics requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Sales and Operations to structure competitive pricing models, ensuring alignment with revenue targets and profitability margins.
3. Due Diligence & Field Assessment
- Conduct on-ground due diligence to assess vendor readiness, infrastructure capabilities, and compliance standards.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any operational, logistical, or compliance-related issues before account go-live.
4. Hypercare Management
- Lead the hypercare phase during new client onboarding, ensuring seamless operational setup and transition.
- Provide hands-on support and monitor performance closely, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address challenges in real-time.
5. Continuous Optimization & Feedback Loop
- Establish and maintain a continuous feedback mechanism with clients and internal stakeholders to enhance solution effectiveness.
- Leverage data analytics to optimize vendor performance, resource allocation, and overall service levels on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in logistics, network solutioning, or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
- Proven expertise in vendor mapping, logistics solution design, commercial negotiations, and operational delivery.
- Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of cost modeling, P&L, and profitability metrics.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Experience working in hyperlocal delivery or last-mile logistics environments is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.
