Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience in Java development to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions to support our platform's functionalities. In addition to strong Java proficiency, experience with microservices architecture, REST API, Graph QL, and familiarity with Hybris are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing robust backend systems using Java technologies.
• Implementing scalable microservices architecture to support the platform's growth and performance requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
• Integrating third-party APIs and services to enhance platform functionalities.
• Optimizing application performance and ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues across the stack.
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and Graph QL schemas.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proactive approach to teamwork.
• Good to have experience with SAP Hybris Commerce platform.
