Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead end-to-end sales
initiatives in the Indian BFSI market. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the AWS
Partner ecosystem and a proven track record in business development, particularly in the data and
analytics domain. This role will focus heavily on leveraging AWS solutions to address client needs and
driving adoption of AWS services within the BFSI sector.
Key Responsibilities:
1. End-to-End Sales Management:
• Identify, engage, and manage sales opportunities from initial lead generation to deal closure.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets through AWS-centric
solutions.
2. BFSI Market Expertise:
• Leverage a deep understanding of the Indian BFSI domain to identify and address specific
client needs with AWS solutions.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the BFSI sector.
3. AWS Partner Ecosystem:
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of AWS services and the AWS Partner network to position and sell
cloud-based solutions effectively.
• Collaborate with AWS teams and partners to design and deliver tailored solutions for BFSI
clients.
• Keep up-to-date with AWS offerings and advancements to provide cutting-edge solutions to
clients.
4. New Business Development:
• Focus on net-new (NN) business opportunities to expand the client base.
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and emerging trends.
5. Solution Selling:
• Promote and sell AWS-based data and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with client
business objectives.
• Deliver consultative sales approaches that showcase the value of AWS technologies and
services.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, technical, and delivery teams, to ensure
seamless execution of projects.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and sales pitches that meet client requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 7 to 12 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically in the BFSI domain
(Preferred).
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth through AWS solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services, including analytics, machine learning, and cloud
infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of the AWS Partner ecosystem and its application in selling data and
analytics solutions.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Experience in selling to Indian BFSI clients is highly preferred.
• A strategic mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or equivalent degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience working with technology-driven solutions for BFSI clients.
• Familiarity with market trends and challenges in the BFSI sector.
