What you'll be doing
The primary role of the Technical Specialist, Use of expert knowledge and industry best practices to investigate tickets of high complexity, conducts advanced and complicated tasks, and provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems.
This position uses considerable judgement and independent analysis within defined policies and practices. Applies analytical thinking and deep technical expertise in achieving client outcomes, while coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions.
Required Experience:
- Typically requires 7-10 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Solid experience in supporting Prisma SDWAN or Cloudgenix network.
- Have through understanding of extensive troubleshooting for WAN network over SDWAN topology both underlay and overlay with packet capture.
- Hands on experience on upgradation of Edge and controllers
- Able to troubleshoot SDWAN routing and application policies
- Working experience over production network on below areas,
1.Application Path and QoS Policy
2.Integrating Prisma SD-WAN and Prisma Access for SASE Implementation"
- Should have worked on ION series appliances /Virtual appliance
- Expertise in creating Panorama™ templates with CSV files and then push the configurations to the Edge devices.
- Hands on experience in SDWAN configuration (install plugin, stage/setup SDWAN and Panorama, Configuration SDWAN policy rule, DÍA any path, HA for SDWAN devices
- Advance routing for SDWAN
- Working knowledge on remote user access technologies, including IPSec VPN, SSL VPN, Explicit Proxy, ZTNA, SWG Proxy.
- Experience deploying and operating WANs, and use of network monitoring tools such as LiveAction, Netscout, and Splunk
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, and IP management tools; familiarity with scripting and APIs as they relate to network automation.
- Knowledge on Integrating Prisma SD-WAN and Prisma Access for SASE Implementation
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper, Fortinet products a plus
- Ability to communicate and work across different cultures and social groups
- Knowledge on TLS / SSL Protocols
- Knowledge on Panorama and firewall
- Added advantage if working experience on Cisco SDWAN network
- Certification like PCNSE, PMRnA, , CCNP, JNCIE etc. will be a plus
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that assigned SDWAN /network infrastructure at the client site is configured, installed, tested, and operational
- Ability to place client at the forefront of all interactions, understanding their requirements and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey
- Ensure that the remediation of events meets expectation and is executed in a timely fashion, in accordance with pre-set SLA/SLO’s
- Ability to create an advanced centre of excellence within our delivery centre, and then leverage this to provide training and mentorship to more junior engineers in the team
- Become familiar with the client's environment and security posture
- Work with clients, their vendors and other NTT managed services groups to drive remediation actions and the implementation of compensating controls
- Create client facing summary analysis and required reports regularly
- Participate in client facing meeting with stakeholders and deliver analysis and reporting
- Make recommendations to stakeholders on potential projects and processes that can be implemented to improve the security posture of the client
- Work with the account team to deliver the service to increase the value that client receives and perceives from NTT services
