Role - Sr Backend Developer

About the Role :

As a Backend API Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our backend services that power our web and mobile applications. You'll work closely with our app engineers and product managers to understand their requirements and
deliver high-quality solutions that meet their needs. You'll also be responsible for optimizing our services for performance, scalability, and security. You'll need to have a strong foundation in programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. You should be proficient in any one of the programming languages among Go, Rust, Python, Nodejs, RoR or Elixir, and have experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. You should also have a good understanding of databases, caching, and message brokers.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement RESTful APIs for our web and mobile applications
• Develop microservices using containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Build and maintain databases, caching layers, and message brokers
• Write efficient and scalable code using best practices and design patterns
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
• Ensure code quality, security, and compliance with industry standards
• Optimize services for high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.

Requirements :

• At least 6 years of experience in developing large-scale, distributed platforms.
• You should be proficient in any one programming language among Golang/ Elixir/ Rust/ RoR/Nodejs
• If you're familiar with the Brave browser codebase, we're pretty much ready to hire you on the spot
• Experience with large data streams and performance optimization (CPU + RAM).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Hands on Experience in Resyful APIs , developing Microservices
• You must have strong problem-solving skills, be able to work independently and have excellent communication and collaboration skills
