About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. This role focuses on overseeing the end-to-end delivery of software development projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will excel at stakeholder management, project planning, and decision-making about product requirements and features, but will not be involved in technical architecture or coding decisions.

Position: Project Manager - Software Development

Experience: 3+ years of project management experience, ideally in software development or IT environments.

What You'll Do

● Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software projects, ensuring they meet business objectives and timelines.

● Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project goals, and outline deliverables.

● Oversee the entire project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk mitigation.

● Facilitate regular meetings with teams, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review sessions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

● Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track.

● Make key decisions about product features, prioritizing requirements based on business needs, customer feedback, and market trends.

● Provide clear and concise updates on project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.

● Collaborate with development leads to ensure alignment between product requirements and technical implementation, while deferring detailed technical decisions to the respective technical experts.

● Foster a collaborative and transparent environment, promoting open communication across teams to drive project success.

What You'll Need To Qualify

● 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development or IT projects.

● Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana).

● Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to delivery.

● Experience in working with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, QA, and business stakeholders.

● Excellent decision-making skills, particularly in defining product features, prioritizing tasks, and handling project changes.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and foster collaboration.

● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

● PMP, PMI-ACP, or CSM certification is a plus.

● Experience in the eCommerce or B2B domain.

● Familiarity with software development processes.

● Knowledge of basic project financials and budget management.

● Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
