Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Java Developer to join our team as a Senior Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, Microservices architecture, AWS cloud services, and Spring Boot. This is a remote position that requires a self-motivated individual with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Microservices Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  2. AWS Cloud Services: Utilize AWS cloud services to deploy, manage, and scale Microservices applications.
  3. Architecture and Design: Contribute to the architectural and design decisions of the software solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability requirements.
  4. Code Optimization: Review and optimize existing code for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  6. Deployment and Automation: Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation processes for efficient and reliable deployment of Microservices.
  7. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and bottlenecks in Microservices applications, ensuring smooth operation in a production environment.
  8. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
  9. Code Reviews: Participate in and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Proven experience (7-10 years) in Java development with a focus on Microservices architecture.
  3. Expertise in Spring Boot for building Microservices.
  4. In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and others.
  5. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
  6. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  7. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  9. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
