Role Summary We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our organization as an Internal Auditor. The role involves evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting audits across various departments, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, integrity, and the ability to communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to senior management.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong working knowledge of INDAS or IGAAP principles and financial statements, including ASC 606 or IFRS 15 and multi-element experience
- Takes a lead role in the preparation and review of monthly account reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting
- Maintaining Internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and keep control against budgets and actual expenditures
- Takes a lead role in the review of customer contracts for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue recognition accounting standards
- Aid in creating Internal Systems, Processes, Controls for the smooth operations of finance function.
- Leading contributor in the monthly financial closure, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions and the completeness of financial statements.
