Job Description: Senior Manager - PR & Corporate Communication (Edtech)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing public relations and corporate communication strategies that enhance our brand equity and corporate reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategic PR and corporate communication plans to increase brand awareness and reputation.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and leadership, to develop messaging and communication strategies that align with business objectives.
• Manage relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and drive thought leadership.
• Create and manage content for press releases, media pitches, speeches, and other external communication materials.
• Develop crisis communication plans and manage communications during times of crisis or reputation risk.
• Drive internal communication initiatives to ensure all employees are informed about company news, updates, and initiatives.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of PR and corporate communication initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Manage budgets and external PR agencies to ensure effective execution of communication plans.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in public relations or corporate communications, preferably in the education or Edtech industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing successful PR and corporate communication strategies.
• Experience managing relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing budgets and external PR agencies.
