Job Description

We are looking for a mid level UX researcher profile for our team. The detailed job profile and experience of the same is specified below (specifically tailored for a fintech startup).

The UX Researcher will be responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative research, gathering data, analyzing it, and deriving insights to enhance product development and user engagement. The ideal candidate will have a relevant educational background, preferably in design at the graduate or postgraduate level.

Role and responsibilities

● Conduct in-depth primary research through one-on-one / focused group interviews, usability testing, and field studies with users, with a focus on gathering qualitative and quantitative data.

● Design and execute research studies to collect user feedback and insights on existing and potential product features and functionalities.

● Analyze research findings and translate them into actionable recommendations for product enhancement and user engagement improvement.

● Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to ensure that user insights are incorporated into the product development process.

● Utilize a variety of research methods, including surveys, user interviews, and competitive analysis, to gather data and identify user needs, pain points, and behavior patterns.

● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX research and incorporate them into the research process.

● Present research findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, effectively communicating the impact and implications for product strategy and development.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Bachelor's or master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field.

● 2-4 years of experience in UX research, preferably in the fintech industry or a related field.

● Strong proficiency in conducting qualitative and quantitative research methods, including

usability testing, interviews, surveys, and data analysis.

● Proficient in using quantitative research tools like tableau.

● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex research findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

● Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
